Determines the water permeability resistance of tight fabrics such as canvas, oilcloth, tent cloth, tarpaulin, nonwoven fabric and rainproof clothing, coated fabric and uncoated fiber. The resistance encountered by water through the fabric is expressed in terms of the pressure on the fabric (equivalent to hydrostatic pressure). Dynamic method, static method and program method are used for fast, accurate and fully automatic testing.
